Charlie est mort, Vive Charlie !

Charlie is dead, Long live Charlie!

Yet tonight, I feel no anger
Great sadness, yes,
Because when I knew that a man wasshot by one of his brothers
It's like a part of me that died
We are not separated from each other.

So, who will?
The unconscious fool holding the gun?
Those who sold the gun ?
Those who taught him to shoot?
Those who nurtured hatred in his heart?
And those who already want to take revenge
Those who by their fanaticism grows hatred of the other?

France lives in chaos tonight
France and all over the world

Yet it is the chaos from which stars are born.

Never I have seen many humans are out on the street as quickly as the last 24 hours
Not to express their anger
But to display a spontaneous solidarity
To light a candle
To cry silently before the madness of men.

I vow tonight that this hell born light
Because sometimes we see the worst of humanity
To aspire to best
All our passion, all our heart, all our soul.
